Job Offer Atlantic Georgia: R&D Engineer
Atlantic Georgia is part of Groupe Atlantic: international company founded in 1968 with over 6500 employees, a turnover of 1,5 billion euros and a constant international development.
The factory of Kutaisi is specialized in production of water heaters.
Role of R&D Engineer: Under the direction of a direct manager, he takes part in carrying out scientific researches or performing technical developments aimed at the development of new technology, the improvement of the current technology, production of products that meet the requirements of the best domestic and world samples.
The main responsibilities will be:
• Design the product:
Design new product in detail by following internal procedure for new product development and modelling new products;
Improvement of existing products: Propose and follow improvement for product as quality, performance, standardization, cost saving and function for final customer;
Develop and provide components and product tests;
Creating the instruction (assembling, manuals, …).
• Improving Continually:
- Product:
By following MDT and other request from other department to improve quality, cost… and by making proposition and analyse to improve quality, cost, and difficulties to assembly…
Method analyses for design and propose improvement to decrease time of design, increase efficiency of solutions and be aware of project performance to help project leader to improve result.
- Marketing:
Be aware of evolution of the market, new product and new technologies by reading magazines specialize, fair, exchange with suppliers.
• Innovation:
Search the new product on the market and the new technology visiting the fairs or searching in the competitors
Build and work in the laboratory to search the new processes
Qualifications and qualities required:
Education & Know-how
Good skiil -2D and 3D modeling;
Advanced knowledge of creo or/ and solid works;
English and / or Russian;
Knowledge of International standards for home appliance-…all products have to design with standards;
Prototyping- To be able to work in field to realize idea in real life and test in all aspects;
Good skill in project management-To be able to organize and plan the projects.
Behavioral skills:
Strong communication skills, analysing and methodology thinking.
