Competition “Create Your Own New Year Tree”

The School of Young Geographers of the TSU Children’s University and the TSU Eco Club are pleased to announce a competition for school children titled “Create Your Own New Year Tree.”

Create your New Year Tree out of waste, join the competition and win it.

The purpose of the competition is to stop forest destruction and cutting of young fir trees on New Year’s Eve.

School pupils have to make New Year trees out of various types of waste; they can use everything – except fir tree and its branches. They can use paper for recycling, polyethylene, metal, jewelry, textile, etc.

Interested persons have to send the photos of their New Year trees no later than December 15 at the following address: junior@tsu.ge
 
Necessary requirements:
Pupils from public as well as private schools are eligible to participate in the competition (No class restrictions);
Observe competition rules; do not use fir tree and its branches;
Do not attach you name and surname, school, class to the photo of a New Year tree; you can only indicate your pen name; send from e-mail address; so, the author will remain anonymous. 

50 best photos will be selected and exhibited.

Contestants will receive information about advancement to the next stage via e-mail. The list will also be posted on the Facebook page of TSU Children’s University.
