According to the June 14 decree of the TSU Academic Council, the Academic Council elected on the basis of relevant amendments to the TSU Statutes will select the Chancellor of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University after confirming the authorities of its new members.
Registration of candidates for Chancellor’s position ended on May 13. Six candidates underwent registration, among them Vakhtang Antia, Shota Chanturidze, Alexander Chkhitauri, Ioseb Masurashvili, Archil Kukulava, Nunu Ovsyanikova.
