Rector of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Giorgi Sharvashidze attended a presentation of internship program for ethnic minority students. A pilot public sector internship program is being launched by the Office of the State Minister of Georgia for Reconciliation and Civic Equality in partnership with the UN Association of Georgia and it is designed for the students participating in the Georgian Language Learning Program 1+4. The program has been initiated by the State Minister for Reconciliation and it aims at improving the employment prospects of ethnic minority representatives living in Georgia, as well as promoting the process of their engagement and civil integration.
Ethnic minority students will have an opportunity to join the internship process through a competition. Interns will be selected by the special commission under the established assessment criteria.
