The Academic Council of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi
State University (TSU) has approved the TSU Strategic Development Plan
for 2017-2021. The document was developed by a working group set up upon
the Rector’s initiative. The working group held its first meeting on
October 6; it worked for three months over a number of issues, such as
the university management, infrastructure development, student life and
student services, scientific and research activities, educational
activities, performance quality assessment, public relations, etc.
The group working on the TSU Strategic Development Plan united TSU
professors, administrative staff and students. Public discussions on
the Strategic Development Plan were held with active involvement of all
stakeholders.
The final document was submitted to the TSU Academic Council for
approval on December 19 and its implementation will start in 2017.
