Joint research was conducted in 2011-2013 out in Romania and Georgia on pollution in the Black Sea. The Georgian team worked with leading German and Greek environmental scientists within a project entitled „Investigation of Submarine Groundwater Discharge (SGD) for preventing pollution and eutrophication of the coastal Black Sea“, funded by the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation and the European Commission.

Research on emotional intelligence has intensified over the last decades, and according to common definitions it is seen as the ability to recognize, understand, express, manage and regulate emotions (J. D. Mayer & P. Salovey, 1997). Emotional intelligence helps to determine whether a person becomes a leader, controls their own and other’s emotions or achieves success. In Georgia research on this topic is relatively new, and has been undertaken by Assistant Professor Dr. Khatuna Martskvishvili, who is studying how emotional intelligence relates to mental disorders, in order to establish possible new trends for rehabilitation.

According to conclusions of Georgian geographers, the state border of Georgia is depicted differently on topographic maps issued during various years of the 20th century. There is no indication of the scale that was used for the map showing official border data. The location of some geographical sites indicated in some scientific studies and on small-scale maps (including schools) also triggers uncertainty.

According to her, the project aims to present Ilia’s works and activities in all their glory. Writers’ personal encyclopaedias are vital for integrating their work into a valuable collection, making their achievements immortal and to preserve a country’s cultural heritage. For these reasons famous literary figures’ personal encyclopaedias have been published, for example those of Dante, Shakespeare, Burns, Dickens, Goethe, Schiller, Pushkin, Lermontov and others. Such works are welcomed worldwide. We do not have many similar literary works in our culture (the only one, the Ivane Javakhishvili Encyclopaedic Dictionary, was published in 2002).
