TSU Ombudsman
The Student Ombudsman’s Office was established at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. Martin Paizena has been appointed as the Student Ombudsman.
The Student Ombudsman’s Office is tasked to protect a student’s constitutional right to receive education and choose its form, as well as other rights and freedoms related to this right.
The key purpose of the Office is to reveal the facts of violation and restriction of student rights and freedoms, to react to such facts and submit recommendations to the University on ensuring the protection and comprehensive exercise of the mentioned rights and freedoms, as well as to prevent possible conflicts emerging from violation of student rights and freedoms and act as a mediator between the parties.
