Brazilian Film Screening at TSU: "Que horas ela volta?" [Ana Muylaert, 2015]

On Wednesday, 3rd May, at 19:00, in Celebration of the International Day of Portuguese Language, TSU- Camoes Language Center and Brazilian Embassy in Tbilisi are organizing the Brazilian film screening at TSU, Building 1, room 101.

The session will be preceded by a brief presentation of the film by Mr. Marcus Marinho, Deputy Head of Mission at the Brazilian Embassy in Georgia, with Ms. Mari Lomsadze, a student of Portuguese Language at TSU.

"Após deixar a filha no interior de Pernambuco para viver como babá do menino Fabinho e morar na casa dos patrões em São Paulo, Val (Regina Casé) convive com sentimentos controversos: a culpa por não ter criado sua filha Jéssica e a segurança financeira que proporcionou melhores condições à sua família.

"After leaving her daughter in Pernambuco and moving to São Paulo to live in a wealthy house as Fabinho’s nanny, Val (Regina Casé) had controversial feelings: the guilt for not bringing up her daughter, Jessica herself and the financial security that ensured better conditions for her family.
