ზაფხულის საღამოები დმანისში: „მეცნიერების კვალდაკვალ“
საქართველოს ეროვნული მუზეუმი და დმანისის საველე სკოლა წარმოგიდგენთ საჯარო ლექციების საღამოებს დმანისის მუზეუმ-ნაკრძალში.
პროგრამა მოიცავს:
დოქტორ ვუდი არის მსოფლიოში აღიარებული ექსპერტი გვარი ჰომოს ტაქსონომიაში, მისი კვლევის ძირითადი საგანია უმაღლესი პრიმატების, კერძოდ კი ჰომინინების ევოლუცია.
ის არის 8 წიგნის, 162 სტატიისა და წიგნის თავის, 138 მოხსენებისა და პოსტერის, 97 წიგნის მიმოხილვისა და 2 ელექტრონული მონაცემთა ბაზის ავტორი და თანავტორი.

Georgian Naional Museum and Dmanis Field School present series of public lectures at Dmanisi Museum-Reserve.
The Program consists of
The subject of the lecture is “Origin of genus Homo”
Dr. Wood is a world famous expert in taxonomy of genus Homo, the main subject of his research inerest is evolution of higher pimates in particular the hominin lineage.
He is presently the GW University Professor of Human Origins and Professor of Human Evolutionary Anatomy at The George Washington University and Adjunct Senior Scientist at the National Museum of Natural History, the Smithsonian Institution. He is also Director of the Center for the Advanced Study of Human Evolutionary History at George Washington University.
He is the author, or co-author of eight books, 162 refereed articles or book chapters, 138 delivered papers or posters, 97 book reviews and the co-author of 2 electronic databases.
