“When so many higher educational institutions are represented at the fair, it is difficult to attract prospective students. For this to happen, you need to offer them something special and manage to send key messages in a very short period of time. Parents may find interesting one thing and prospective students may pay attention to absolutely different factors. For example, parents showed interest towards TSU after hearing that it will soon mark its 100th anniversary. The fact that Georgia is more available and safer for studies or living compared to Eastern European countries, proved decisive for the citizens of Central Asia and eastern countries,” Nika Melkadze noted.

Registration of prospective students is carried out within the framework of the Study in Georgia project; the latter aims to attract international students for getting education in Georgia’s higher educational institutions. The information about prospective students interested in specific programs will be sent to respective higher educational institutions and the latter will provide them with detailed information about the opportunities offered by them.
Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University offers international students about 20 foreign language programs, 16 research institutes and a new dormitory.
