TSU Students at Jülich Research Centre

Students of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU) were hosted by Jülich Research Centre. Within the framework of the project “Autumn Lectures in Tbilisi,” QUALI-Start-Up lecture course was delivered for them.
 
During the visit, TSU students attended lectures at several leading institutions of Jülich Research Centre, among them Institute for Nuclear Physics (IKP), Institute of Neuroscience and Medicine (INM), Institute of Energy and Climate Research (IEK), Peter Grünberg Institute (PGI) and Central Institute of Engineering, Electronics and Analytics (ZEA). The lectures covered a wide range of topics in the following fields: Experimental and Theoretical Physics (nuclear physics, nanotechnology, medical physics); Chemistry and Biology; Life Sciences and Health; Mathematics; Engineering Science and Technology. Students familiarized themselves with those requirements that should be met in order to continue studies and research at Jülich Research Centre, as well as at RWTH Aachen University and University of Cologne.
 
The Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and the recipient country provided financial support in organizing the visit.
 
Along with TSU students, several delegations consisting of students from other members of the Georgian University Consortium (TSU, Georgian Technical University, Ilia State University and Agrarian University) also visited Jülich Research Centre within the framework of the Georgian-German Science Bridge.
