TSU, Kamara Sign Memorandum of Cooperation

Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU) and Kamara Ltd signed a memorandum of cooperation on August 5. The memorandum was signed by Acting Rector of TSU, Professor Darejan Tvaltvadze and Head of Kamara Ltd, Davit Machavariani.
Kamara Ltd will donate the coat of arms carved in stone to the Tbilisi State University. It will be placed in TSU Building I. “Our cooperation has already yielded a very pleasant result. The company Kamara will donate the university’s coat of arms as a gift; it will be carved in marble and will be a copy of the coat of arms, which was historically made for the university by Dimitri Shevardnadze,” Acting Rector of TSU, Prof. Darejan Tvaltvadze said. She thanked the company and especially its management, Davit Machavariani and Nana Khocholava, who made it possible to realize the idea.  
Davit Machavariani, head of Kamara Ltd, said: “Today is a very important day, because we have the honor to sign a memorandum with the Tbilisi State University. We, the entire staff, are happy to have an opportunity to carve the university’s logo in natural material.”   
The memorandum envisages planning and implementation of joint projects and events, sharing experience, cooperation in raising professionalism and qualification, working with students and young specialists, further improvement of curricula, holding joint lectures as well as organizing acquaintance visits to the university and the company.
