TSU, UCD Sign Memorandum of Understanding

President of the University College Dublin (UCD), Professor Andrew Deeks signed the Memorandum of Understanding between UCD and the Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU) at the University College Dublin on June 25. Chargé daffaires of Georgia to the Republic of Ireland, George Zurabashvili also attended the signing ceremony. The document has already been signed by TSU Rector, Academician Vladimer Papava.

The memorandum envisages deepening of cooperation between the two universities and offers exchange programs to students and researchers, as well as academic staff.
On the same day President Andrew Deeks and Georgian Chargé daffaires to Ireland, George Zurabashvili signed a certificate of collaboration and confirmed their readiness for promoting student mobility.

“Signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between TSU and UCD is an important step ahead to boost cooperation between Georgia and Ireland in the sphere of education. It is important that Georgian students will have an opportunity to study at one of the leading European universities in frames of exchange programs, to gain knowledge and valuable experience that will guarantee their future success,” Chargé daffaires of Georgia to the Republic of Ireland, George Zurabashvili said.
