Job Fair for International Education Center Graduates

Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU) hosted a job fair for the graduates of International Education Center. Rector of TSU, Giorgi Sharvashidze; Head of International Education Center, Nino Chelidze; 39 graduates of the Center and representatives of various higher educational institutions attended the event.

“Graduates of those programs, which have been organized by International Education Center, are participating in the fair. The State has made a huge investment to help students get education abroad. They returned to Georgia and we have a huge hope that many of them will find jobs at the university,” Deputy Rector of TSU, Mikheil Chkhenkeli said.

“The purpose of the fair is to employ our graduates in the university space. Various universities and among them Tbilisi State University are our partners in the field of employment, as well as in selecting the best students. The today’s fair aims at inviting new professors and new administrative visions to the universities. We hope that our graduates will find jobs as a result of the today’s forum,” Head of International Education Center Nino Chelidze said.

“I studied in the United States with the financial support of the Education Center; I have a huge hope that any university will show interest towards a presentation prepared by me. I think that similar job fairs will help students like us find jobs,” Zviad Bartaia, graduate of International Education Center, said.

The purpose of the job fair is to promote the collaboration between graduates and universities in frames of the university support program, as well as the involvement of young professionals in innovative, research, learning processes for the purpose of development and modernization of the university space.
