Georgian-German-Azerbaijani International Summer School “Global Professional Skills – Leadership and Employment Opportunities” Opened Online

An international summer school “Global Professional Skills – Leadership and Employment Opportunities” was opened online on September 4 and will last till September 12. Along with students of TSU Faculty of Economics and Business, students of Koblenz University of Applied Sciences, University of Azerbaijan, Baku Technological University and Tbilisi Business and Technology University are participating in the summer school. 
The project is led by Prof. Dr. Magdalena Stülb and co-led by Prof. Gabriela Wolf with Sven Binder acting as a coordinator. Ucha Gogrichiani coordinates the project from the Georgian side. 
The summer school program envisages both theoretical and practical courses. Business companies involved in health, sport and industrial spheres were selected in all the three participating countries in advance. The following Georgian companies have become the project partners: 
1. Dental clinic “Medi Dent Plus” (head Tamar Dolidze) 
2. Football club “Saburtalo” (head Tariel Khechikashvili) 
3. Georgian-Israeli joint company Netafim Georgia (head Aharon Gagulashvili)
English is the working language. Certificates will be awarded to the participants upon completion of the summer school. 
Noteworthy that Georgian-German-Azerbaijani International Summer School with the participation of the Faculty of Economics and Business of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Koblenz University of Applied Sciences and University of Azerbaijan has been established as a tradition and is being held alternately either in Tbilisi or in Baku. In 2017 and 2018, TSU hosted the summer school on a topic “Intercultural Management Competence.” In 2019, the summer school was held in Baku with the participation of TSU students. In 2020, it is being held online for the first time due to the coronavirus pandemic. 
Next year, it is planned to uphold the tradition and further enhance the cooperation.
