Georgia’s Global Competitiveness Conference

A scientific conference Global Competitiveness of Georgia was organized by the Faculty of Economics of the Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU) at the Lopota Lake in Kakheti Region on June 14.

TSU Rector, Academician Vladimer Papava, Dean of the TSU Faculty of Economics and Business, Teimuraz Beridze, the faculty’s academic staff, 19 winners of the economics and business faculty conference attended the event.

TSU Rector Vladimer Papava delivered a report on the stages and perspectives of Georgia’s economic development, including in a period after signing the Association Agreement with EU.

The winning students presented their papers at the conference. The TSU Rector awarded certificates to the winners.

The scientific conference was organized by PhD students from the TSU Faculty of Economics and Business - Vakhtang Charaia, Giorgi Gaprindashvili and Irakli Dogonadze. Just they were awarded with certificates and encouragement prizes at GEL 1500 for the best scientific papers at the scientific forum dedicated to the memory of Ivane Javakhishvili on April 25. The winners spent this money on organizing the scientific conference Global Competitiveness of Georgia in Kakheti.
