We have excellent young people. It is our duty to discover them and pay attention to them. Eter Kotrikadze has become the winner among the students from the entire university, not only the faculty. I want to thank our professors, who are making their contribution to the development of talented youth.”

“It is a huge motivation for me to win this competition. At the same time, it is a great responsibility. I want to express huge gratitude to the university, the faculty and members of the Department of Cultural Studies. I also want to thank the Rector of TSU. This scholarship is a great impetus for me to continue my studies in Master’s degree program just at TSU. I am very happy,” Eter Kotrikadze said.

On initiative of TSU Rector Vladimer Papava, the Rector’s Scholarship was established from the 2013-2014 academic year, for the first time in the history of TSU. The special commission selects the best performing undergraduate student, who will receive a scholarship at GEL250 from the Rector’s salary on a monthly basis. Besides the best academic performance, potential scholarship recipients should meet other criteria too, such as participation in scientific conferences, writing scientific articles and papers, etc.
