The Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU) hosted a ceremony of signing the Partnership Initiative between seven Georgian universities and two business associations.

The document was developed in frames of the EU Tempus-funded project Student Career Service Development in Georgia (CASEDE) and it aims at highlighting the importance of student career service, sharing the priorities related to this issue and expressing readiness for cooperation. The document also aims at creating the foundation for future cooperation in this sphere both at national and international levels.

“The key goal of the project is to provide students with career growth opportunities. We can only welcome similar programs and I am sure that the partnership of these universities will be successful,” TSU Rector, Academician Vladimer Papava said.

“We want to unite Georgian higher educational institutions, career service development center and business associations and help our partners through this project to prepare student career development program. This is the first initiative and we want to involve more organizations in it,” Coordinator of Partnership Initiative, Jolanta Vaičiūnaitė said.
