Presentation of Collection “Sturua’s World of Shakespeare”
A presentation of the collection “Sturua’s World of Shakespeare – Articles by Students and Essays by School Pupils” will be held at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University at
3pm on December 27.
The collection includes scientific articles prepared by students of the Tbilisi State University and essays written by school pupils from public schools of Tbilisi, Gori, Kutaisi and Zugdidi, participating in the project “Sturua’s World of Shakespeare” in 2014, 2015 and 2016. The collection also involves the works of students winning the TSU student academic conferences as well as student essays on the project.
Robert Sturua, artistic director of Shota Rustaveli Theatre, TSU professors, students and pupils from public and private schools participating in the project will attend the event.
The collection is dedicated to the 400th anniversary of William Shakespeare’s death. The idea of creating the collection belongs to TSU Associate Professor, Davit Maziashvili, who also is the editor of the publication.
