Public Lecture by Professor Gail Whiteford
On September 18, at 6pm, the Department of Occupational Therapy at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU) will organize a public lecture on Widening Participation for Disadvantaged Students by Prof. Gail Whiteford.
The lecture will be delivered in English.
Professor Gail Whiteford (BAppSc; MHSc: PhD) has been a contributor to, and thought leader in, occupational therapy and occupational science for over twenty five years. She has variously held positions as an academic, researcher, manager, facilitator and consultant. She has acted in the position of Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research) and as Australias first Pro Vice Chancellor for Social Inclusion. Gail Whiteford is currently a professor of occupational therapy at Griffith University, Queensland, Australia and through her firm, Whiteford Consulting, undertakes evaluative research, strategic and staff development activities across education, health and development sectors. She is widely published with three books and about 120 articles.
